Mid-Cycle Update IUI #3 3-28-08

Greetings beloveds! Thank you SO much for your intercession through prayer. We felt it, and cannot express how much we appreciate it!!!
Just wanted to give you a quick update (short version) for those inquiring:
- Monday the ultrasound went great! no cysts or hyperstimulation; growing follicles looking great (the doctor said "this looks great! I couldn't ask for any better")
- We did the ovidrel injection Monday night (sweet nurse Becky gave me the shot and did such a great job!)
- Wednesday we did the IUI and it went great!

So overall everything went fantastic, praise You Lord! The only concern is that the last couple days I have been having pain and discomfort in my ovaries and abdomen... we just ask that you please continue praying - there are a couple of possibilities as to what this pain means, neither are good - so we are just trusting the Lord - He knows exactly what's going on in my body, even though it doesn't make sense to me, and if He has this time to be the time, then it will be. Thank you so much for your prayers. We'll do bloodwork next week to check progesterone but then probably wait several weeks before a pregnancy test (if we take one too early, then we would most likely get a false positive due to the injection).

Jenn Anderson pointed me to this Scripture in the Amplified version and the Lord has really brought it to my heart the last couple days:

"3You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You.
4So trust in the Lord (commit yourself to Him, lean on Him, hope confidently in Him) forever; for the Lord God is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages]." Isaiah 26:3-4
Amen!!
