Hey prayer warriors! How's it going? I know many of you have asked when we are going to do the laparoscopy surgery, etc. and we finally found out ;) Next Monday, October 27th (scheduled for 1pm). A dear friend of mine asked me today how I was feeling about it and I said "excited!" b/c we are just so excited to see what all is going on in there. Of course, 'surgery is surgery'... so there is reason for preparation and knowledge of what's involved, the recovery, etc. but it sure isn't brain surgery like one of my best friends just had a couple weeks ago! Wheww - that was something else! I know some of you who are reading this have had this done, and I'm sure all of you know plenty of people that have had it, and you know that what they find and how your body reacts is ALL across the board.
We would love to have your prayers on this. We are VERY confident with our doctor, her nurses, and staff, but please pray for the Lord to totally work through their hands; that their minds would be sharp, and that they would have Supernatural wisdom in what they see and what to do. If you would, please also pray for the Lord to wrap me up and protect my body from all the drugs, anesethia and stuff that goes into your body. (this may not sound like a big deal to some, but with all that we've gone through with other health stuff and this liver ;), we sure don't want to dump a ton of synthetic stuff back in it). We are praying for a good speedy recovery, and for the Lord to work Mightily in and through this... and that it would be a display of His Glory!
We were in Austin yesterday (a very speedy trip) to do pre-op consultation, ultrasound, bloodwork, and start the Clomid. We're rockin' and rollin' now! Next Thursday, Oct 30, we have the post-op consult., follicle study (sonogram), and whatever else needs to be done - hopefully not more bloodwork - ha!
We should find out a lot from the laparoscopy... we'll keep ya posted!
Thank you all so much! We can't tell you how much we appreciate your prayers!
- “He will have no fear of bad news; his heart is steadfast, trusting in the Lord.” Psalm 112:7
- “But as for me, I will always have hope” Psalm 71:14
- “Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Remember the wonders He has done..." Psalm 105:4-5
- ‘Who would dare the choice, neither or both to know.
The finest quiver of joy or the agony thrill of woe!
Never the exquisite pain, then never the exquisite bliss.
For the heart that is dull to that can never be strung to this.’
