Hey guys! I just can't tell you how grateful we are for your continued prayers and support! Monday, before the surgery, I was getting stuff lined up and just kind of paused for a minute at the realization of this incredible peace that was enveloping me... It is the coolest thing to actually feel that you are being lifted up in prayer... To say that your prayers were felt is truly an understatement! And thank you SO much for the sweet phone messages, e-mails, texts, goodies... I was so grateful and felt so blessed by the TEAM the Lord has blessed us with. We are so underserving and know that SO many people are going through far worse, but we graciously say thank you for your prayers, friendship, love and support!

Many of you have heard the update from the surgery, but here's the skinny in case you haven't:
- Found endometriosis, and left ovary was adhered to pelvic cavity with scar tissue ('adhesion') and thus causing the fallopian tube to be kind of kinked back around... there's other little details, but that's the gist! :)

We have had a question mark in the back of our minds for quite some time as to whether there was another puzzle piece missing (besides the ovulation disorder)... well, looks like there was! Our doctor said this definitely was affecting our infertility and needed to be fixed! The huge blessing of it is that she felt that she was able to repair the ovary/fallopian tube deal, and help the endometriosis enough to try this round of IUI, and not move straight to in-vitro! Since our doctor had us to do the Clomid before the surgery, it stimulated follicle growth with the ovaries. We had a post-op appt and ultrasound Thursday (yesterday) and it showed several follicles, and one dominant one on the left ovary! Yippee! So, if all goes well, we'll pick up an LH surge on the ovulation tests and do the IUI within the next 4 days! While we are very excited, we know that the future is quite unscripted ;) The surgery definitlely helped but we still have the ovulation deal to contend with and there's many couples that go through all this and still end up doing in-vitro... but hopefully this round of everything Dr. Hansard has prescribed will do the trick! God knows, not us!

Prayers were definitely answered with this surgery, and with the doctor (she was amazing!!). We are SO grateful and look forward to what the Lord has next! He is so good - His mercies are new every morning, Amen!?!
